Raw recognition gets common words right and stumbles on the words that matter to you: the client's surname, your product, an abbreviation your team uses daily. VoiceTyping combines speech recognition and language models with your personal dictionary, so those words come out right the first time.

VoiceTyping works in Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on Mac, Windows and Linux, and installs as a web app on your Dock or Start menu. The extension for Chrome and Edge types into Gmail, Outlook on the web, Slack, Notion, Google Docs and any text field on the web. On a phone, use the installed voice to text app and share the result into any app.

Personal is 15 USD a month or 7 USD a month billed yearly (84 USD per year) with 400 AI minutes, about 55,000 words. Pro is 29 USD a month or 14 USD a month billed yearly (168 USD per year) with 900 AI minutes, about 125,000 words, plus custom styles, export and unlimited history. FAQ
How accurate is it with technical terms?
Accuracy on everyday words is high out of the box. For technical terms, add them to your dictionary once and VoiceTyping uses that spelling every time it hears them, including capital letters and abbreviations.
Can I export what I dictated?
Yes, on Pro and Team. Export your history as TXT, DOCX or CSV. Personal keeps a searchable 30 day history you can copy from.
Is my audio stored on your servers?
No. Audio is processed to produce text and deleted right after transcription, and it is never used to train models. Text history is encrypted at rest and you can delete it in one click.
Does it replace the dictation built into my computer?
For work writing, yes. You keep the built-in tool if you like it for short searches, and use VoiceTyping when the text needs punctuation, the right names and the right tone.
What happens if I use up my AI minutes?
Your plan has a monthly allowance and a daily cap, both shown in your account. When you reach the limit, dictation pauses until the next day or the next period, or you can move to a larger plan.
